Here’s a fine print of the famous 1970 vintage poster featuring the one and only Steve McQueen and the Porsche 908, a car McQueen drove to win the 3-litre class of the 12 Hours of Sebring Race in 1970. McQueen famously starred as a driver in the film Le Mans but his original intention was to compete in the actual 24 Heures du Mans race driving a 917. Studio backers shot down that plan but McQueen maintained his love of racing and cars, with Porsche being his preferred make. The poster is on fine art grade paper, size 50cm wide x 70cm high, and supplied in a strong cardboard tube.
