As a long standing Porsche owner, Race Glaze MD Mark Wibberley is delighted to sponsor The Independent Porsche Enthusiasts Club Concours 2007 - 2009. 'With a hard core of Porsche owners committed to our products it seemed a natural thing to do. We offer advice and practical assistance for fellow Porsche folks, and I even buffed up my 944 Turbo for the 2007 Concours'.
If you saw us at a Show in 2007 or 2008, chances are we'll be there again in 2009 - check with us if you wish.

February 2009. Spray Wash Trigegr Gun reviewed by AutoExpress, 4 stars, and 'transforms a normal hoses water output' and 'certainly makes cleaning a car easier than it is when using only a hose'. Overall, 'saves the expense of a power washer, many different spray modes, solid construction, large shampoo/detergent reservior.
January 2009: Race Glaze Leather Cleaner reviewed by Auto Express review team with 4 star rating out of a possible 5: ‘Looking like golden syrup, this cleaner tackled the drinks as if they were merely water, and the chocolate was dispensed in seconds...’
December 2008 – In association with Detailing World Expert Dave McLean, Dave KG’s Machine Polishing Emporium is launched with a range of Meguairs, Kestrel and our won polishing machines plus compounds, heads and pads. Includes exhaustive Machine Polishing Guide on CD, providing a step by step programme of self-training for amateurs and more serious detailers alike.
October 2008 – Race Glaze move to a large, modern office and warehouse in Barnack, Lincolnshire. Having production and warehousing under one roof helps communication and brings costs down.
September 2008 – Screensheen kit launched to restore plastic rear screens. AutoExpress gave this product 4 stars out of a possible 5. They said: ‘Results on our grubby MX-5 test car were impressive’ ‘Why buy? Simple and effective, plus cheaper than replacing a hood’

July 26, 2008 - Race Glaze was proud to provide sponsorship for the Stamford Fire Station Charity Car Wash. Race Glaze supplied wash mitts, Aquabathe wash & wax shampoo and drying towels to the firefighting team. The car care company also provided guidance on correct valeting techniques to avoid scratching valued paintwork – none of your old sponges in use here! And of course Aquabathe is completely biodegradable and pH neutral so that the environment was protected too. The One Pass drying towels proved a real hit, as Auto Express commented earlier this year, ‘Absorption was staggering, with the OnePass swallowing up four times its weight in water and leaving no residue on the roof of our test car. It sped up the job no end.’ – Essential for firefighters when you have to dry hundreds of cars on a hot summer day! Over £1000 was raised on the day. All funds raised benefitted the Fire Fighters Charity, which provides pioneering treatments and support services to fire fighters who are injured in the course of duty. The charity assists over 13,500 individuals every year and costs over £9 million to run every year, relying purely on donations from the public.
July 6, 2008 - Ferrari Owners Club Concours. 6 cars are entered with Signature Series 55 wax and they come away with 4 cups ! Entries include an Enzo (Area Groups Class Winner), 412i(Winner, V12 Class), 246 Dino (winner in Champion of Champions Class) and another Dino, 550 Maranello, F355 and Daytona.
July 2008. Ryan Phillipsof Detail NI is appointed an Authorised Detailer, covering Northern Ireland and Eire.
March 1st, 2008. Signature Series wax 42 and 55 launched. Take up is extremely fast. Premium distributors appointed. Magazine reviews give the products very strong write-ups.
February 2008. BPS Rallye (www.bpsrallye.com) become a distributor in France and Spain. Further overseas distributors sought.
September 2007. Our National Detailing Service is launched, employing some of the best UK detailers and our products to make your car really gleam. This service is UK-wide.
August 2007. Our new Car Cover, Dehumidifier and AirChamber sister-site launched – see www.carcovershop.co.uk
May 2007. Matt Webster, Chips Away franchisee and keen detailer has established a full valeting and detailing workshop in Lincoln as Ultimate Car Care. Only Race Glaze products are used and every line is stocked for retail. Matt is duly appointed an Authorised Race Glaze Detailer.
April 2007. Duncan Holland, committed user of Race Glaze products since the mid-1990s, is appointed distributor for the American car market. Duncan owns several American cars and has a variety of friends cars, all prepared with the right products, with him at all the big shows on the US scene.
February 2007. Richard Tipper, established in 1989 as a detailer of quality cars, is appointed an Authorised Race Glaze Detailer. As Evo magazines Recommended Valeter, looking after dozens of luxury cars including Ferrari Enzos, Koeniggsegg and Bugatti Veyron, producing results which owners describe as ‘ the best their car has ever looked’, Richard is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and hard working. And very good at what he does.
December 2006. Dave Naxton of DPN Valeting, the leading independent valeting and detailing company in the Harrogate area renounced Autoglym products and switched over to Race Glaze. Dave becomes an Authorised Race Glaze Detailer.
Dave’s award-winning Concours Mitsubishi GTO came third in the National Autoglym Championships in July 2007, and Dave appeared on several editions of the ‘Used Car Roadshow’ on Channel Four offering car care advice.
June 2005 - Race Glaze Ltd taken over and relocated to Stamford by existing distributor Mark Wibberley of morethanpolish.com. This new website, new product labelling and new products plus an increased presence at shows in 2006 are early visible changes, hopefully improvements.
